I'm Ashton Coxon, founder of ACE Goalkeeping — Ashton Coxon Elite Goalkeeping. I've spent 15 years playing in goal across youth and men's football, and the last 4 years turning that experience into elite coaching. Alongside ACE, I work as an assistant goalkeeper coach at East Midlands Elite Soccer — a goalkeeper-specific coaching company run by the current Notts County goalkeeper.
I started ACE Goalkeeping because I couldn't find local goalkeeper coaching that was both affordable and high quality. I wanted to change that — giving young goalkeepers in Nottingham access to elite-level coaching crafted to accelerate development beyond typical grassroots sessions.
All sessions are held in the Nottingham area, tailored to each goalkeeper's individual level and development goals.
Our most popular option. Fully personalised coaching focused entirely on your goalkeeper's specific weaknesses and goals. Maximum intensity, maximum improvement.
Bring a friend or train alongside peers. Small group sessions (2–4 players) allow for competitive drills while still receiving focused coaching attention.
Occasionally self-run group sessions open to multiple goalkeepers. A great way to experience ACE Goalkeeping coaching in a larger, energetic environment.

Everything parents and players usually want to know before booking their first session.
Sessions are open to goalkeepers aged 6 to 16, covering all ability levels — from complete beginners to players in academy setups. Each session is tailored to the individual's current level and goals.
Sessions are held across the Nottingham area. The exact venue will be confirmed when your booking is accepted. Ashton typically holds sessions at Bingham Road Playing Fields in Radcliffe-On-Trent.
1-to-1 sessions are £25 per session (60 minutes). Small group sessions (2–4 players) are £10–£15 per person. Larger group sessions are announced occasionally — follow @ac1_gk on Instagram to stay updated.
Goalkeepers should bring their own gloves, appropriate football boots or trainers for the surface, and water. Shin pads aren't required. All coaching equipment is provided by Ashton — no need to bring balls or cones.
